Seeds of Hope

It all started when…

Years ago, a vision to help others was planted within Jamie Stilling-Stepp’s heart. She started the journey with her landscape company employing many and encouraging them to utilize their special gifts.

After her husband’s death and son’s traumatic brain injury in 2004, she realized the landscape company was a stepping stone to learn how to help those with special needs.

Over 5.9 million children have special needs. Seventeen percent of school aged boys have special needs and nine percent of girls. Raising four boys, two step sons, and employing over 65 employees, she knew a difference could be made by creating a community to utilize gifts within those with special needs. Seeds of Hope has accomplished this by teaching with hands on experiences in horticulture, culinary, construction and recreation areas.
